Biography

Dr Zengxia Pei is a Lecturer and Sydney Horizon Fellow in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Sydney. The research explores functional nanomaterials for sustainable energy storage and conversion, including aqueous batteries, electrocatalysis and hydrogel electrolytes. He studies how material composition and structure influence performance. Dr Pei received his PhD from City University of Hong Kong in 2017 and joined Sydney in 2018.
