Dr Yijun Zhong

Biography

Dr Yijun Zhong is an ARC DECRA Fellow and research fellow in the Western Australian School of Mines at Curtin University. His research combines chemical engineering, materials chemistry and electrochemistry to advance energy storage and conversion. He leads research on high-voltage proton batteries that can operate at ultralow temperatures and contributes to work on solid-state battery interfaces. His studies connect the design of functional electrode and electrolyte materials with the practical performance and reliability of emerging electrochemical energy systems.
