Biography

Dr Yannan Yang leads the Biomaterials and Immune Engineering Lab at the South Australian immunoGENomics Cancer Institute, Adelaide University. The research develops materials that deliver and control immune signals, including nanoparticles, hydrogels and biomimetic systems. The laboratory combines biomedical engineering with immunology to advance cancer treatments and vaccines. After completing a PhD at the University of Queensland in 2019, Dr Yang established the laboratory in 2023.
