Biography

Asst. Prof. Xianbiao Fu is an assistant professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the National University of Singapore. His research focuses on electrocatalysis, electrochemical engineering and sustainable energy-to-chemical conversion. In particular, he develops approaches to electrochemical ammonia synthesis, nitrogen activation and ammonia utilisation, combining catalyst design with electrochemical reaction engineering. His work investigates reaction mechanisms and reactor concepts that could support scalable, low-carbon ammonia production and chemical energy systems.
