Biography

Dr Shujie Zhou is a Lecturer in chemical engineering at UNSW Sydney, where she completed her PhD in 2023. She develops electrochemical and photoelectrochemical approaches for converting solar energy into fuels and useful chemicals. The work combines catalyst design, reaction mechanism studies and reactor development to improve performance and scalability. She is affiliated with the ARC centres for the Global Hydrogen Economy and Carbon Science and Innovation.
