Biography

Associate Professor Peter Wich leads the UNSW Research Lab for Functional Biopolymers in the School of Chemical Engineering at UNSW Sydney. His research sits at the intersection of macromolecular chemistry, bioorganic chemistry and nanotechnology. The group modifies natural biopolymers to create multifunctional and biocompatible materials, with applications in drug delivery, nanomedicine and biocatalysis. His work integrates molecular design and biomaterial engineering to develop functional platforms for healthcare and biological technologies.
