Biography

Dr Peng Chen is a Senior Lecturer in chemical engineering at the University of Queensland and a group leader at the Australian Institute for Bioengineering and Nanotechnology. The research develops photovoltaic materials and devices, particularly lead-free perovskites and materials for tandem solar cells, to support efficient and affordable solar energy. He completed his PhD at UQ in 2020 and holds an ARC Early Career Industry Fellowship for 2026–2028.
