Biography

Dr Jinqiang Zhang is a Chancellor's Research Fellow and ARC DECRA Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney. His research addresses materials and reaction mechanisms for electrochemical energy storage and conversion, including advanced batteries, water splitting and fuel cells. He also works on carbon dioxide capture and electrochemical reduction, with an interest in reactive capture and selective catalyst design. His projects combine functional organic molecules, atomically dispersed catalysts and electrochemical systems to improve efficiency and stability in sustainable energy technologies.
