Biography

Dr Guocheng Fang is a Research Fellow and Cancer Institute NSW Early Career Fellow in biomedical engineering at the University of Technology Sydney. His research develops intelligent organoid-on-chip platforms for disease modelling and drug screening. It combines microfluidic engineering, optical microcavity sensors and machine-learning approaches to monitor cellular and tissue behaviour. Before joining UTS, he held a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship at Nanyang Technological University. His work aims to translate biophotonic sensing and engineered tissue models into practical biomedical technologies.
