Biography

Associate Professor Fengwang Li is an ARC Future Fellow and Associate Head of School (Research) in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Sydney. He leads the Electrochemical Engineering Laboratory and contributes to the ARC Centre of Excellence for Green Electrochemical Transformation of Carbon Dioxide (GETCO2). His research uses renewable electricity to produce sustainable chemicals and fuels through electrochemical processes, including carbon dioxide conversion, green hydrogen and ammonia. He received the 2025 Australian Academy of Science Le Fèvre Medal.
