Biography

Dr Fei Deng is a Lecturer in biomedical engineering at UNSW Sydney and holds NHMRC EL1 and NSW Cancer Institute ECR fellowships. The research develops biosensors for use at the point of care and within living systems, including CRISPR-based diagnostic technologies. A UNSW PhD graduate, he combines molecular sensing with practical device development and works with industry to translate diagnostic innovations.
