Biography

A/Prof. Chih-Yu Kuo is an associate professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at National Taipei University of Technology. His research focuses on polymeric nanostructures, biomaterials, hydrogels and the self-assembly of block copolymers. He studies responsive polymer systems and multifunctional coatings for biomedical applications, including material interfaces relevant to controlled delivery and biological interactions. His work combines polymer synthesis, materials processing and characterization with the development of functional nanomaterials and engineering approaches to biomaterial performance.
